SILO Security was started by Alex, the owner of SILO nightclub, a 600-cap nightclub in Brooklyn, and Cesar, SILO’s head of security. Alex has run nightclubs for over a decade and Cesar has worked nightlife security for over a decade.

After cycling through multiple security companies at SILO, the two realized that most contractors are out of touch with the needs of their clients. Guards are either inattentive or too aggressive. Their hands are either on their phones or on a patron’s neck! Not to mention, the managers who end up running the contract security companies aren’t particularly organized. Cesar and Alex would joke that they had NYC’s worst security company, except for every other security company!
